Phantom phans were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Steve Barton on the 21st July 2001. Steve, who played Raoul and understudied The Phantom in the Original London Production of Phantom of the Opera, is featured on the OLC recording and is know to many through that and his various other shows. This page is dedicated to his memory... As much as I hate Raoul as a character, I greatly admire Steve Barton and I am very upset at his passing. My condolances to all his family and friends...
